Prayer Shawl Ministry is now
Led By Thread!
Meets Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7: 30 and
Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:30 in the Youth Center
About Prayer Shawls: They are used for those undergoing medical procedures, as a comfort after a loss, during bereavement, prayer or meditation, commitment or marriage ceremonies, birthing, nursing a baby, as a bridal shower gift, or during an illness and recovery.
They wrap, enfold, comfort, cover, give solace, mother, hug, shelter and beautify.
Every member of the Prayer Shawl ministry prays over the shawl before it is passed on to its recipient.
This ministry is for young and old, men and women, beginner and pro! The shawls may be knitted, crocheted, tatted, quilted, or any other type of needle work.
We also have a few members working on children's sweaters.
